Repair and Fabrication of Damaged Solar Mars 100 Exhaust Stack

Project Overview

This project covers the inspection, replacement, repair, and reinstallation of the Solar Mars 100 turbine exhaust stack that experienced an explosion and sustained damages. The objective was to restore safe and reliable operation of the gas turbine unit in compliance with OEM's specifications and industry standards. The exhaust stack was successfully repaired with completely new sections fabricated using the appropriate materials, all the welds were tested and appropriate high temperature corrosion control applied. This was achieved by UNITRITECH within 20 days of mobilization to site. The Gas Turbine Unit was successfully restored to operation.
